Technology solutions provider, Redington has entered into a partnership with Eastman Auto & Power to distribute solar inverters, lithium batteries, and energy storage systems (ESS) across India. The move is part of Redington’s strategy to expand its solar product portfolio.
The collaboration focuses on supporting the deployment of Made-in-India solar components for both rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects, including those under the government’s PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. “Redington has been in the distribution of solar products for almost a decade and has enabled more than 3 GW of rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations across the country by supplying high-quality products to over 5,000 solar system integrators,” said Pradeep Srikanthan, Business Head, Redington Solar.
Eastman Auto & Power’s products will help meet subsidy eligibility criteria under the Surya Ghar programme, which mandates the use of Made-in-India components. The company manufactures solar modules, inverters, batteries, and ESS, said the partnership reflects a joint commitment to make solar energy solutions more accessible.
