Venwind Refex Power (VRPL), a subsidiary of Refex Industries, has signed a contract with a leading independent power producer for the supply of wind turbine generators (WTGs) for wind power projects.
The contract covers a total capacity of 148 MW, to be set up in Tamil Nadu. The scope of work includes the design, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and supply of the WTGs, with related technical and supervisory assistance. The contract, awarded by a domestic entity, is set to be completed by September 2026. VRPL will deliver the equipment in accordance with industry standards.
The order further enhances VRPL’s portfolio in the wind power sector, especially in Tamil Nadu, a key hub for wind energy in India.
