Renaatus Procon, a subsidiary of the Renaatus Group, is set to invest Rs 250 crore in the first phase of a new manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh for fibre cement boards. The announcement was made by RP Selva Sundaram, Chairman and Managing Director of the Group, during a press interaction in Coimbatore.
The facility, expected to be commissioned in 2026, will have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tonne. The plant is aimed at serving the construction sector primarily in southern Indian states and export markets, reinforcing the Group’s expansion into sustainable building materials. In addition to this initiative, Renaatus plans to invest approx. Rs 300 crore over the next two to three years to scale up production of its Renacon AAC (autoclaved aerated concrete) blocks.
By 2030, the company is targeting total annual revenue of Rs 3,000 crore to Rs 4,000 crore, with around Rs 1,300 crore projected to come from Renacon products alone. These strategic investments are expected to boost the Group’s presence in the green construction materials sector.
