Renny Strips, India's exclusive manufacturer of customised green steel solutions for the scaffolding and formwork industry, has installed a cutting-edge 22 MW solar power plant across 100 acres.
This large-scale renewable energy project highlights the company’s commitment to sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term cost savings. By reducing reliance on grid electricity, Renny Strips expects to lower its energy costs by 33 percent, while also decreasing carbon emissions. The initiative has already helped the company cut its emissions by 50 percent compared to competitors, with a goal of reaching a 75 percent reduction in line with global sustainability standards.
The solar plant, with a 25-30 year lifespan, will provide long-term financial benefits, offering both energy savings and government incentives that ensure a quick payback period. Sustainability is a core responsibility for Renny Strips, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship in manufacturing.
With 90 percent of raw materials produced in-house, the company adheres to the carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM) regulations, further solidifying its role in India’s green energy movement and balancing profitability with environmental responsibility.
