Solar RE Power, a subsidiary of SAEL Industries, has successfully commissioned a 50 MW solar power plant in Beed district, Maharashtra. The project is expected to generate over 100 GWh of clean electricity annually, contributing to India’s push for a sustainable energy future.
"This 50 MW (AC) ground-mounted solar project features TOPCon bifacial modules, designed for high energy yield and performance reliability," the company said in a statement. The advanced bifacial module technology enables greater efficiency by capturing sunlight from both sides of the panel. The project is secured under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL), ensuring long-term revenue and tariff stability aligned with industry best practices.
SAEL Industries operates across multiple verticals in the renewable energy sector, including agri waste-to-energy, utility-scale solar projects, and solar module manufacturing. The company holds a growing portfolio of over 6.7 GW in solar independent power producer assets spread across India.
