SAMHI Hotels has secured formal confirmation from the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for an extension to the development timeline of its Navi Mumbai hotel project.

This approval paves the way for SAMHI to begin construction on a 700-room dual-branded hotel near the Navi Mumbai International Airport, featuring Westin and Fairfield by Marriott. The first phase will include 400 rooms, making it SAMHI's largest hotel asset. The project aims to cater to diverse demand segments in the region, with a focus on key locations like the Navi Mumbai International Airport and DY Patil Stadium.

SAMHI Hotels anticipates that the development will significantly strengthen its presence in a critical gateway market and enhance its portfolio with the addition of a marquee property. The project is poised to align with infrastructure timelines and scale efficiently to its full 700-room capacity.
