The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with H2Global Stiftung, aiming to bolster green hydrogen development and advance India's aims to become a global hub for green hydrogen production and export.

This strategic partnership, formalised under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, seeks to establish a collaborative framework for promoting green hydrogen projects and fostering international cooperation.

The collaboration is set to enhance knowledge exchange on structuring joint tenders and trade logistics, focusing on aligning with global hydrogen market dynamics and strengthening India’s position in the green hydrogen economy. By working closely with H2Global Stiftung, India aims to gain valuable insights into stakeholder engagement and hydrogen trade logistics, critical for advancing its renewable energy initiatives.

The initiative aligns with India’s strategic goal to enhance green hydrogen exports, driving renewable energy innovation and contributing to global sustainability efforts.
