Oil India has invited bids for setting up of a 160 TPD municipal solid waste (MSW)-based compressed biogas (CBG) plant in Agartala, Tripura.

The contract, which includes 80 TPD mixed and 80 TPD source segregated MSW, is intended for commercial use. The scope includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, transportation, and commissioning of the plant, along with a ten-year operation and maintenance agreement. The contract duration will be 21 months from the issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA), with the operation commencement date marked when the contractor completes mobilization and is ready for operation. 

The engineering, procurement, construction, and operation & maintenance (EPCOM) contract aims for a single point responsibility for the complete implementation of the plant. 

The closing date for bid submisison is 20 November, 2025.
