SPML Infra has secured credit facilities amounting to Rs 205 crore by one of India's leading public sector undertaking (PSU) banks. This sanction, which includes a Bank Guarantee (BG) limit, reflects the strong financial credibility, the company stated in an official release.

The non-fund-based facility will substantially strengthen the company's ability to meet its contractual obligations and drive efficient execution across its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and infrastructure development projects. The sanctioned limit will specifically support the issuance of critical instruments such as performance guarantees, bid securities, and advance payment guarantees, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.

Importantly, this credit facility will be utilised across SPML Infra’s diverse project portfolio, which spans the water and energy sectors, including battery energy storage system (BESS) initiatives. The company had earlier marked its entry into the BESS space in April 2025 through a strategic collaboration with US-based Energy Vault, signalling its commitment to next-generation energy solutions.
