Sadbhav Futuretech has bagged a contract to install 90 MW of rooftop solar systems on residences of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana program in Andhra Pradesh.
The Rs 5.09 billion order will cover 45,000 households and includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar systems. Sadbhav is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the systems for five years. The company aims to complete the installations within six months. This initiative supports the government's goal of providing renewable energy to marginalised communities, promoting equitable access to clean energy.
The company has previously installed over 170 MW of solar systems. The project is part of a broader state effort to deploy 1,198.21 MW of rooftop solar systems for SC and ST consumers under the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
