As part of Uttar Pradesh government’s industrial expansion drive, the Sandila industrial area in Hardoi has been earmarked for a Rs 105 crore infrastructure upgrade.
UPSIDA CEO Mayur Maheshwari announced that the funds will be used for construction and upgradation of roads, drains, culverts, and industrial entry gates, with the goal of improving efficiency and creating a world-class business environment. The CEO said, "A total investment of Rs 105 crore has been allocated to improve its civil infrastructure... aimed at enhancing the ease of doing business and creating a world-class industrial environment."
The initiative also focuses on worker and visitor-friendly amenities including a Shramik Sewa Kendra to deliver essential services, vending zones, truck lay-bye areas for safe parking, and a cafeteria providing affordable meals. The project will also include public toilets to ensure hygiene and dormitories to accommodate workers and staff engaged in ongoing projects, thereby supporting welfare and operational readiness.
