of Rs 1,000 crore. The company has signed an MoU with the Karnataka Government
during the Global Investors Meet (GIM 2010).
The centre to be set up on 40 acre, near the Bangalore International Airport
is likely to provide technical support to Shell companies worldwide. It is

exploration, development and refining petrochemicals and possibly marketing of
specialised petroleum products.
The Phase I of the centre is expected to be ready by 2013.
