Shree Gautam Construction Company has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by the Public Works Department (PWD), Assam, for the construction of a new Sainik School at Langvoku in Karbi Anglong district.
The contract, valued at Rs 295.4 crore, is expected to be completed within 24 months. This major educational infrastructure initiative is part of Assam’s broader commitment to expand quality schooling facilities and strengthen opportunities for students across the state. Sainik Schools, known for nurturing discipline, academic excellence, and pathways to defense careers, play a key role in preparing youth for leadership.
