Shreejikrupa Project (SKPL), a Raipur-based company, has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder by the Public Works Department (PWD), Assam, for the construction of various buildings at the proposed Kanaklata Baruah University in Gohpur, Bholaguri, Biswanath district, Assam.
The project includes the construction of an academic block, common lecture hall complex, hostel block, mega mess, student facility centre, residences for the VC and Registrar, guest house, residential quarters, and a service block. The work will be carried out on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis.
In addition to construction, the scope of work covers topographical surveys, soil investigation, preparation of architectural and detailed working drawings, as well as structural designs for all buildings; and associated works.
All buildings are to be designed and registered to achieve a minimum three-star GRIHA rating for sustainability.
The financial bid was opened on 29 May, 2025, with Shreejikrupa Project quoting a bid value of Rs 336.63 crore.
