Ramsarup Industries (RIL), a part of Shyam Metalics, is set to commission a state-of-the-art modern blast furnace and linear sinter plant to enhance steel production.

The blast furnace, with a 0.45 MTPA capacity, will undergo heating today and commence commercial production by November 2025. Simultaneously, the linear sinter plant will begin operations by the third week of November 2025, as part of the Rs 369 crore investment which aims to meet growing demand for high-quality steel products across industries.

The new blast furnace features advanced technology, including modern coal injection, energy recovery systems, and an environmentally-friendly design. Brij Bhushan Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director of Shyam Metalics, stated, “This strategic expansion marks a significant leap towards operational excellence and sustainability in steel manufacturing.
