The formal process has commenced for setting up 105 kW solar power plant at Civil Hospital in Sangrur, Punjab.
A memorandum of understanding was signed for this on behalf of the state government with the Indian Oil Corporation (Northern Region Pipelines) at the District Administrative Complex.
The Indian Oil Corporation inked MoU regarding providing Rs 50 lakh under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in connection with the solar power plant.
The plant will be set up on the rooftop of the hospital which will lead to the main building of the hospital, nursing college and tubewell getting power supply.
