Soma Papers & Industries’ subsidiary, KS Smart Solutions, has secured a Rs 172.65-crore order from the Punjab School Education Department.

The work involves deploying IT infrastructure across government educational institutions in Punjab, including 23,846 mid-level desktop systems and 23,207 line-interactive UPS systems. KS Smart Solutions will be responsible for the supply, installation, configuration, commissioning, and providing warranty support for these systems, in line with technical specifications and government guidelines. The project aims to enhance digital education in the state by establishing reliable and scalable computing infrastructure in schools. The work is to be completed by April 2026.

Soma Papers & Industries, primarily a manufacturer of coated papers, fluorescent papers, and self-copy papers, is expanding its footprint through this engagement in the educational sector, contributing to Punjab’s digital education initiatives.
