South Central Railway (Construction Organization) has issued a tender for doubling of railway track between Mudkhed and Basar stations.
This engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract will include electrification, along with the installation of signalling and telecommunication systems, aimed at enhancing connectivity and efficiency in the Hyderabad division of South-Central Railway. The initiative is part of the broader Mudkhed-Medchal doubling project, which spans both Maharashtra and Telangana. The estimated cost is Rs 696.05 crore, and it is expected to improve the region’s rail infrastructure significantly.
Bidders are invited to submit their proposals for the contract, with the closing date set for 19 March, 2026.
