EPC firm Sterling and Wilson has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DataVolt Information Technology of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to build data centres. It was signed by both companies on the sidelines of the Indo-Saudi Business during G20 Summit in New Delhi.
The MoU intends to develop and construct data centres in respective countries, in accordance with the highest international standards. Both companies prioritise blending advanced technology and sustainable practices seamlessly, aligned to the vision of a knowledge-based economy, job creation and technology sector.
Together, by leveraging DataVolt’s project development expertise along with Sterling and Wilson’s capabilities in building large-scale data centres, it will offer future-ready solutions for hyperscalers, colocation players and enterprise customers.
Sterling and Wilson has executed 20 plus data centre projects with total IT load of over 60 MW in India and international markets.
As part of the Vision Invest group, DataVolt, with interests in the emerging global markets develops and operates renewable power, computing, networking, cooling, and reusage critical infrastructure.
