Surya Roshni, a leading Indian brand in lighting, fans, home appliances, steel, and PVC pipes, inaugurated its new wires & cables plant in Malanpur, Madhya Pradesh.
The facility was officially opened by Union Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia and Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar. The inauguration featured a traditional pooja hawan and ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a guided tour. The plant, equipped with advanced technology and automated machinery, aims to meet growing demand in India’s wires and cables market, projected to grow at over eight percent CAGR between 2025 and 2030. Strategically located in Central India, it will serve key markets nationwide, create employment, and support the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
Chairman JP Agarwal emphasised the facility’s role in producing high-quality products essential for robust electrical infrastructure and regional growth. Surya Roshni aims to strengthen India’s electrical supply chain and expand in the growing wires and cables market by delivering innovative, quality, and reliable solutions for industrial and consumer need.
