Suzlon Wind Energy A/S, the European division of Suzlon Energy, has formed a
JV with Volkswind Bulgaria GmbH through the company DI V Wind OO. Volkswind
Bulgaria is a subsidiary of Volkswind GmbH, Germany.
The JV is likely to accelerate Suzlon's growth into the Bulgaria's wind
energy market combining Volkswind's local knowledge and development experience
with Suzlon's expertise in developing utility scale projects. The JV plans to
develop projects exclusively y using Suzlon wind turbines.
Suzlon already has a 13 MW project under construction in Bulgaria.
