Syrma SGS Technology, a leading Indian electronics systems design and manufacturing firm, has signed a joint venture agreement (JVA) with Italy-based Elemaster Tecnologie Elettroniche, a global leader in electronics design and manufacturing.

The collaboration will be operated under Syrma SGS Design and Manufacturing, soon to be renamed “Syrma SGS Elemaster”. The JV aims to create a strong India-focused platform serving high-reliability customers in railway, industrial, and medical electronics sectors. A new facility will be established at Bommasandra Industrial Area, Bengaluru, covering ~20,000 sq. ft., and will house advanced SMT, THT, and box-build assembly lines.

The partnership integrates Syrma’s large-scale, cost-efficient execution capabilities with Elemaster’s design expertise and strong relationships with European OEMs. By aligning strengths, the JV seeks to expand opportunities in high-growth end-markets, enhance profitability, increase global account penetration, and promote “Make in India” solutions within critical electronic segments.
