Delhi International Airport (DIAL) is expected to inaugurate the new
integrated domestic-cum-international terminal (T3) on 3 July 2010 and flights
will be shifted to it in a phased manner from 14 July.
T3 is to have a common check-in concourse with five level in-line baggage
system for faster processing. It will have 90 immigration counters and 78
passenger boarding bridges. The terminal will also have high-speed metro rail
connection to Connaught Place along with a multi-level parking for more than
4,300 cars and a 60-room transit hotel for passengers.
