High-technology company, TRUMPF plans to expand in India and is building a new production facility. Being near this expanding market helps it to meet customer needs more quickly, and offer personalised solutions for the Indian market while utilising global synergies. The factory will be located in Pune, Maharashtra. 

TRUMPF will invest more than four million Euro in the new production facility, even as production is set to start within this year. The factory will start with TruBend series 1000 Basic Edition bending machines, and would follow with TruLaser cutting series 1000 Basic Edition by 2025. 

It will leverage talent available in India and utilise the ecosystem in machine building to deliver quality in India, and draw customers and new entrepreneurs to invest in TRUMPF machines. Its long-term goals include serving other markets in India and increasing the supply chain.

TRUMPF is also expanding along the support infrastructure side by adding showroom in Bengaluru, planned to be operational within this year. With a software research and development facility based in Chennai, TRUMPF offers comprehensive solutions to the customers.
