Tata Housing has bought 7.3 acre of land in Mumbai for developing a luxury housing project.
The company has acquired 7.3 acre land from KEC International worth Rs 214 crore.
On 29 March 2014, Tata Housing and KEC International signed an agreement for the land parcel located in Thane district.
Recently, the company bought a 20-acre land parcel in North Bangalore from Alstom for Rs 120 crore, and another one at Hailey road in Delhi.
In order to buy a plot in Mumbai, Tata Steel sold its 25-acre Borivali land parcel for Rs 1,155 crore to Oberoi Realty. In 2012, Lodha Group had acquired a 17-acre land parcel at Lower Parel from DLF for Rs 2,725 crore.
