Tata Motors has announced a partnership with THINK Gas to strengthen India’s LNG refuelling infrastructure for heavy-duty trucks.

The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance fuel quality awareness, improve infrastructure readiness, and foster the adoption of LNG-powered commercial vehicles. This collaboration aims to support India’s transition to decarbonised freight operations by ensuring reliable access to refueling networks.

Tata Motors' Vice President, Rajesh Kaul, emphasised that LNG offers an efficient and sustainable solution for long-haul trucking. THINK Gas will focus on maintaining fuel quality and supply reliability, while also offering Tata Motors customers exclusive benefits like preferential pricing. The partnership will target key freight corridors and logistics clusters to expand LNG infrastructure and increase its adoption in the commercial vehicle sector.
