Techno Electric & Engineering Company aims for an annual order inflow of about Rs 2,500 crore from the power transmission EPC space over the next four years.
Addressing an investor conference on Q1/FY26 results, Chairman PP Gupta said the company sees a “bidding pipeline of around Rs.40,000 crore per year,” of which it expects to capture a meaningful share. Gupta highlighted that the EPC sector is increasingly adopting advanced technologies such as 765kV substations (AIS & GIS), HVDC, STATCOM, and BESS, which could drive high-margin opportunities.
Techno is engaged in 765/400kV substations at Sikar and Dausa (Rajasthan) and has already commissioned substations at 17 locations in Q1FY26. It plans to complete 20 more this fiscal, including four GIS substations in J&K and Ladakh. As of 30 June, 2025, the order book stood at Rs 10,408 crore, with Rs 7,120 crore in EPC orders. Techno also holds two interstate transmission concessions and is rolling out 2.25 million smart meters under RDSS.
