The Government of Telangana has signed an MoU with CtrlS Data Centers at Davos to establish an AI Data Centre Cluster in the state, with an investment of Rs 10,000 crore.
The 400-MW capacity project is set to create 3,600 direct and indirect employment, as announced by Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu. v
Separately, HCLTech revealed plans to expand its operations in Hyderabad after a meeting at the World Economic Forum. The IT company will set up a 3.20-lakh sq. ft. facility in Madhapur, creating jobs for 5,000 employees. This facility will focus on cloud, AI, and digital transformation solutions for industries like hi-tech, life sciences, and financial services.
