Engineers India (EIL) has floated a tender for a geotechnical soil investigation survey for the proposed press mud-based Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant at Halkarni, MIDC area, Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

The custom bid for services is aimed at generating detailed soil parameters, determining the design groundwater table, and preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports to support the development of the plant. The survey will be conducted in areas identified for the installation of proposed project facilities, ensuring accurate data for engineering and construction purposes.

Through this initiative, EIL continues to reinforce its expertise in project management and consultancy, while contributing to India’s bio-energy and renewable energy infrastructure growth. The contract period is specified as one month.

The bid submisison closing date has been set for 17 September, 2025.
