Greenzo Energy India has won a landmark order from Jindal Stainless (JSL), India’s largest stainless-steel manufacturer, to supply, erect, install, and commission an advanced green hydrogen electrolyser plant at JSL’s Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex in Jajpur, Odisha.
The project, with a designed capacity of 4,72,409 kg/year (approx. 0.47 KTPA), is scalable up to 1.5 KTPA and will deliver 5,256,000 Nm³/year of high-purity hydrogen for critical stainless-steel processes, including the Bright Annealing Line and Bell Furnace. Delivery and commissioning are scheduled within six months of contract signing.
The fully indigenous alkaline bipolar electrolyser, developed by Greenzo, produces hydrogen at 30 bar pressure with 99.99999 percent purity, integrated SCADA, and AI-based automation for real-time optimisation. Greenzo will also provide 30 days of on-site training and 11 months of virtual support to JSL’s technical team. This collaboration aligns JSL with India’s net-zero and ESG commitments while reinforcing Greenzo’s leadership in hydrogen technology under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
