Greenzo Energy, India’s first integrated Green Hydrogen company, has bagged a research & development (R&D) order from Engineers India (EIL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
The order, issued through the Government e-Marketplace platform, involves the supply, sitework, and mandatory spares for a hydrogen electrolyser modular unit to be installed at EIL’s R&D Complex, Sector-16 in Gurugram, Haryana. This milestone reflects the government’s trust in homegrown companies to drive India’s green hydrogen mission.
The contract positions Greenzo Energy as a frontrunner in delivering scalable, indigenous hydrogen electrolyser solutions. The initiative aligns with India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission, designed to make the nation a hub for hydrogen production and exports. The project is expected to catalyze technology deployment across refineries, fertilisers, steel, cement, and other hard-to-abate industries, advancing India’s decarbonisation goals.
