Tesla will open its second India showroom at Delhi’s upscale Aerocity on August 11, following the Mumbai debut and Model Y launch. Located near IGI Airport, the new facility marks a key step in Tesla’s India expansion.
The first showroom, in Maker Maxity Mall at BKC, Mumbai currently showcases two Model Y variants imported from Tesla’s Shanghai plant. Deliveries for the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) model are expected by Q3-end, while long-range variant deliveries will begin in Q4. Tesla’s Model Y line-up in India includes the RWD priced at Rs 59.89 lakh (Rs 61.07 lakh on-road) and the long-range RWD at Rs 67.89 lakh (Rs 69.15 lakh on-road).
Tesla activated its official India website during the Model Y launch, allowing registrations from Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. This move strengthens Tesla’s presence in India’s growing EV market, setting the stage for future retail and charging infrastructure expansion.
