Destination retail mall developer and operator The Phoenix Mills (PML) has opened its second mall 'Phoenix Mall of the Millennium' at Wakad, Pune in Maharashtra. The mall has been developed by PML under its joint venture with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments). 

The project will spread across 16 acres, encompassing over 12 lakh sq. ft. of leasable area, and serve as Pune's most extensive and experiential hub across shopping, dining, and entertainment aspects. The design features three resplendent atriums, musical fountains and an indoor 'Fan Park' to host concerts, live sports and key events.

Apart from an entertainment zone with Time Zone, FunCity and others spanning 1.10 lakh sq. ft., the mall boasts a14-screen INOX megaplex, equipped with 2,200 seats for a world-class cinematic experience. It houses over 350 national and international brands, including anchor brands such as H&M, Lifestyle, Marks & Spencer's, Reliance Trends, Westside, Hamley's, and Shopper's Stop.

Moreover, the mall offers 75 F&B options and features the Oasis Food Court with restaurants curated by notable names such as Punjab Grill, Copper Chimney, Third Wave Coffee, and Blue Tokai adoring the dining landscape. It is expected to generate employment for more than 10,000 persons directly and indirectly.

Its strategic location on the Golden Corridor area from Pune to Nasik and Ahmednagar are set to establish this destination as a regional consumption centre. Further visibility of the project will be gained through the  under-construction, commercial office space with approx. leasable area of 14 lakh sq. ft. expected to become operational in FY25.
