Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed authorities to expedite the final stages of the Noida International Airport's construction so that operations can begin by 15 December, 2025.
During his site inspection on 27 Novemebr, 2025, CM Adityanath emphasised the importance of completing all pending security-related tasks. According to Noida International Airport (NIAL) CEO RK Singh, the airport is in its final phase, with only a few compliance steps left before receiving its aerodrome license, which could be granted as early as December 2, contingent on the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) finalising security clearances.
"Once the approval from BCAS comes, DGCA will clear the aerodrome licence within 24 hours," said NIAL's Shailendra Bhatia. However, commercial flights are expected to begin in early 2026, as airlines need time for adjustments.
