Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam has invited bids for design, build, finance, operate and transfer sewage treatment plants (STPs) along with associated infrastructure for a period of 15 years through hybrid annuity based PPP mode in Agra of Uttar Pradesh under the Namami Gange Programme.
The project brief is as follows:
1. Dhandhupura (New) Package Facilities: Development of a new STP facility with a proposed capacity of 100 MLD at Dhandhupura, along with its associated infrastructure which includes gravity sewer, one pumping station, its rising main (5.5 km), effluent channel (1.56 km), conveyance channel of treated effluent, appurtenant structures, online monitoring systems and allied works.
2. Eastern Zone Package Facilities: Development of a new STP facility with a proposed capacity of 35 MLD at Peelakhar, and three decentralised STP facilities, one with proposed capacity of 1.5 MLD at Indira Nagar Memorial, another with proposed capacity of 0.25 MLD at Peelipokhar and third with proposed capacity 1.1 MLD at Dharwale Baba, along with their associated infrastructure which includes interception and diversion works such as nala tapping at 13 locations, intercepting/gravity sewer, one pumping station rising main (150 mtr) and appurtenant structures, online monitoring systems, conveyance channel of treated effluent and allied works.
3. Northern and Tajganj Zone Package Facilities: Development of one STP facility with a proposed capacity of 31 MLD at Jaganpur and seven decentralised STP facilities of capacity -- 0.35 MLD at Artoni, 0.02 MLD Kailash Mandir, 0.3 MLD at Jalma, 1.6 MLD at K K Nagar, three MLD at Transport Nagar, 1.13 MLD at Mau Nala and 2.35 MLD at Wyepur along with their associated infrastructure which includes interception and diversion works such as nala tapping at nine locations, intercepting/gravity sewer, a lift station with rising main (500 mtr), one pumping station with rising main (3.2 km), appurtenant structures, online monitoring systems, conveyance channel of treated effluent and allied works.
The estimated value of the project is Rs 361.93 crore with construction period of 24 months, including three months of trial operations of the facilities.
