The Uttar Pradesh government has allocated Rs 1,246 crore for a greenfield expressway connecting Noida International Airport at Jewar to the Ganga Expressway.
The expressway, approx. 76 km in length, will pass through Bulandshahr district and improve connectivity between key urban and industrial areas, such as Meerut, Bulandshahr, Khurja, and Syana. It is expected to reduce travel time significantly and enhance regional access. An interchange is also planned near Sector 21, close to the upcoming Film City along the Yamuna Expressway. The expressway will strengthen access to national corridors like the Ganga and Yamuna Expressways and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
The project is part of the Uttar Pradesh government's larger infrastructure push, which also includes provisions for the Ganga Expressway and Gorakhpur Link Expressway. “This expressway will boost connectivity and economic growth across the region,” said a state official.
