The UP government is taking forward steps towards advancing its vision of making the state an "Udyam Pradesh" by setting up industrial units under the UP Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters (UPIMLC).
The Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has initiated land allotments in Unnao, Hardoi, and Sambhal for industrial and logistics plots. Entrepreneurs can apply for plots exceeding 11.36 hectares in Unnao and 1.2 hectares each in Sambhal and Hardoi. These locations are equipped with top-tier infrastructure, including seamless connectivity, 24-hour power, dedicated water supply, drainage, and sewage treatment plants (STPs).
UPIMLC is shaping industrial corridors along five expressways, ensuring the development of 29 self-reliant IMLCs with strategic connectivity. The current phase invites applications for land allotment in Unnao, Sambhal, and Hardoi, with other clusters to follow soon. The Unnao cluster spans 135.26 hectares, with a basic allotment rate of Rs 5,010 per sq. mtrs., benefitting from proximity to the Ganga Expressway, Lucknow-Kanpur Highway, and Lucknow International Airport. Sambhal’s allotment rate is Rs 4,640 per sq. mtrs. connected to the Ganga Expressway via Gajraula Highway and Hatim Sarai Railway Station.
Each cluster boasts a well-planned road network, uninterrupted power, dedicated water infrastructure, drainage, and STPs. Entrepreneurs can apply for plots via the Nivesh Mitra portal, marking a significant step towards Uttar Pradesh’s industrial growth.
