Videotex, a home-grown original design manufacturer (ODM) for televisions, aims to double its topline to Rs 1,000 crore in the next four years. The company plans to achieve this through capacity expansion and diversification into the growing appliances segment.
Currently manufacturing for over 20 Indian and global brands, Videotex plans to scale its annual production capacity from 2.2 million to 3.2 million units, according to Director Arjun Bajaj. Operating two manufacturing units in Greater Noida, Videotex expects to close the current financial year at approx. Rs 470 crore
The company’s phased expansion has already increased its capacity to 2.2 million units in Phase I, with Phase-II set to enhance high-end LED solutions, including Mini LED TVs. With a 40-year legacy in TV manufacturing, Videotex has evolved through technological advancements, transitioning from CRT to LCD, LED, and OLED. Today, it is a leading ODM in the television industry.
