1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Wardha Power invites bids for Chhattisgarh Power Plant

Wardha Power Company (WPCPL), a subsidiary of KSK Energy Ventures plans to set up a 3,600 MW (2x1,800 MW) thermal based power unit in Chhattisgarh under turnkey basis. Bids were invited for design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning and performance guarantee tests for the project.

WPCPL is also setting up a 540 MW coal based power unit at Warora in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. The project would be implemented in two phases. Each phase of being 270 MW (2x135 MW). China based Switchon Electric Design Company is consultant for the project. China-based Sichuan Electric Power Design Consulting Co. bagged the EPC contract for the project. Work on Phase I and Phase II of 270 MW each was underway with completion scheduled for May 2009 and December 2009 respectively.

The KSK Group has operational power plants capable of generating 144 MW of power and is currently constructing, developing and planning power projects with aggregating capacity of 8,993 MW of power. These power plants are based on various fuels ranging from natural gas, lignite and coal to hydro projects.
