The Web Werks – Iron Mountain Data Center (IMDC) joint venture (JV) has launched a data centre in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
Spanning an area of 80,000 sq. ft., the BLR-1 is a tier III-designed data centre that can support up to four MW of IT load.
The facility will cater to the demand for connected, compliant and sustainable data center services in the region. More specifically, it will serve its hyperscale and enterprise customers seeking data-driven services, cloud, colocation and other network services.
Web Werks maintains tier-III data centres in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Pune, and is poised to boost the carrier, cloud and content-neutral interconnection ecosystem for businesses across India.
The JV recently launched its first greenfield data centre in Navi Mumbai. Earlier, in 2022, it announced plans to invest in a new Hyperscale data centre in Noida.
