Work on the Pandoh Bypass-Takoli road upgradation is expected to begin by February 2018.
In August 2017, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) signed an agreement with Shapoorji Pallonji Pandoh Takoli Highway for the project.
Shapoorji Pallonji Pandoh Takoli Highway, the concessionaire, envisages four laning of the end of Pandoh bypass to Takoli section on NH-21 from 221.31 km to 242.00 km in Himachal Pradesh.
The project worth Rs 2,600 crore will be executed on hybrid annuity mode (HAM) under NHDP Phase-IVB (Package-II). However, the independent engineer is yet to be appointed for the project.
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has also approved development of the project.
The project is expected to be completed by 31 March 2021.
