1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurates Rs 6,350-cr highway projects in Jharkhand

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 11 National Highway projects worth Rs 6,350 crore in Jharkhand on 03 July, 2025. Of these, nine projects are located in Ranchi and two in Garhwa, significantly enhancing the state’s road infrastructure.

In Ranchi, Gadkari inaugurated the 4.18-km Ratu Road flyover, extending from Raj Bhavan to OTC Ground. Other key launches include the Rs 1,900 crore Palma-Gumla four-lane highway, Rs 825 crore Barhi-Koderma four-lane road, and smaller projects such as those in Godda (Rs 100 crore), Giridih (Rs 20 crore), and Barahat-Tulsipur (Rs 70 crore). Additionally, an elevated corridor worth Rs 560 crore was inaugurated in the city to improve urban mobility.

In Garhwa, the Minister opened a 23-km four-lane road from Shankha to Khajoori, constructed at a cost of Rs 1,130 crore. He also laid the foundation stone for a Rs 1,330 crore project to expand a 32-km stretch of NH 39 from the Chhattisgarh-Jharkhand border to Gumla into four lanes. These projects aim to strengthen intra-state connectivity, reduce travel time, and promote economic development across Jharkhand.
