The construction of the 64 stadium in Eldoret town, the capital of Uasin Gishu in the Rift Valley region of Kenya is now 10 percent complete.
Funded partly by the World Bank Group, through the National government of Kenya, and by the County government of Uasin Gishu, the approximately USD 9.1 million ultra-modern sports facility is set to be completed in early 2022 after 16-18 months of construction.
It will have a sitting capacity of at least 30,000 people, spacious offices, parking lot, FIFA standard football pitch and IAAF approved running track.
