Zen Technologies, an indigenous IDDM-compliant defence technology company, has secured a Rs 108 crore contract from the Ministry of Defence.
The order involves the supply of crew gunnery simulators (CGS) designed for tank commanders and gunners. This contract is part of the Ministry’s broader effort to modernise military training through advanced simulation technologies. The CGS replicates a tank’s turret compartment, including sights, controls, and indicators, offering a high-fidelity training system that enhances realism in combat scenarios.
This procurement follows the 2021 Simulation Framework release, which emphasises simulation-based training as a strategic priority for defence force modernisation. By leveraging indigenous technology, Zen Technologies contributes to India’s self-reliance in defence modernization efforts.
