Zydex Technologies, a firm in the nanotechnology space, is planning to increase the capacity of its Vadodara plant in Gujarat.
The company intends to enhance its capacity by four times to 6,000 tpa at its Vadodara plant. This involves an investment of Rs 30 crore. Zydex uses nanotechnology to reduce water percolation into roads, which in turn reduces damages.
The company has already received government approval to build a one lakh tonne capacity plant in Vadodara. It expects to achieve its proposed capacity by a sharp increase in orders from rural and district roads.
