Santhiram Ren-energy is looking forward to setting up a 1,000 MWp solar photo voltaic (PV) power unit at Nandyal, in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.
The solar project will be set up with an investment of Rs 6,000 crore and will spread across 5,450 acre.
The project, having a total capacity of 1,000 MWp will be developed in three phases. Phase-I of the project will have a capacity of 100 MWp; Phase-II will have 400 MWp; and Phase-III will have a capacity of 500 MWp.
The company is awaiting approvals from the state and central government for allotment of land.
The project will be financed through equity, bank loan and other financial institutions.
The consultant and the machinery supplier for the project are yet to be finalised
