The Union government will provide the
transaction document to bidders participating in the modernisation and
development of Delhi and Mumbai airports next week (end-August 2005). Bids would
be received by the middle of September 2005, according to Union Minister for
Civil Aviation, Mr Praful Patel.
In his address to the Parliamentary
Consultative Committee on Civil Aviation, the minister regretted the delay in
the implementation of the project, but said that the government was committed to
building world-class airports.
