Punjab-based DCM Engineering is
planning to set up a castings unit in southern India with an investment of
Rs.200 crore within two years.The plant location will be from amongst Tamil Nadu, Karnataka or
Andhra Pradesh.
The company is also raising the
capacity of its Ropar unit in Punjab from 50,000 tpa to 70,000 tpa with an
investment of Rs.20 crore.
DCM Engineering, a manufacturer of
engine blocks and cylinder heads, supplies its products to Hyundai, Maruti,
Hindustan Motors, Swaraj Mazda, Eicher Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra &
Mahindra, Sonalika etc.
