has received a letter of intent for Rs.45.4 crore from
Madras Cements for erection and commissioning of electrical and
instrumentation equipments for Line-2 project.

- PSL bagged
orders worth Rs.1,045 crore collectively for
- The onshore gas pipeline projects for supply
of pipes for Gujarat State Petronet's Gas
Grid along with export orders from Iran and Malaysia [contract value: Rs.700
crore]
- The offshore pipeline related service project
orders have been received from Allseas and
NPCC (two leading turnkey offshore
construction companies operating in the region) [contract value: Rs.175 crore]
- Few miscellaneous orders for supply of
equipment and pipe exports [contract value: Rs.170 crore]
- Madhucon Projects
in JV with Sinohydro bagged an order worth
Rs.134 crore from I&CAD Departmant, Government of Andhra Pradesh for
irrigation project of GNSS main canal in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.
The scope of work involves investigation, designs and earth work, excavation
GNSS main canal from KM 141.350 to KM 161.350 including construction of CM &

bagged an order worth Rs.15.7 crore for the work of water supply, Vena project
near Nagpur which is scheduled for completion within four months.
- Parsvnath Developers
has bagged an order for Rs.160 crore from Delhi Metro
Rail Corporation for developing an integrated shopping mall and
metro station at the Games Village complex. The concession period for the

in joint venture received an extension order valued at Rs.336.22 crore from
Irrigation and CAD Department, Government of Andhra
Pradesh to increase the capacity of the Gandikota Lift Irrigation
Scheme from 4 tmc to 6 tmc, with an additional command area of 88,465 acres.

Engineering recently bagged new projects worth Rs.100 crore which
include road works at New Delhi, Punjab, and Arunachal Pradesh and Diaphragm
Wall works for
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. These orders have taken the company's order
book to around Rs.1,000 crore. Most of the orders are executable in 18 to 24
months.

Construction received the letter of award from
Sichuan Fortune Project Management Co. Ltd,
China for erection work for two 330 MW power plants of Adani Power Project
Ltd., at Mundra, Gujarat, for a total estimated contract value of Rs.37.76

Rohren announced that it won orders worth Rs.1,089 crore for the
supply of pipelines (both H-SAW and I-SAW) for domestic and international
clients. The company's current pending order book position stands at around
Rs.4,000 crore including orders executed in the last quarter of fiscal year
2006-07.

- RTS Power Corporation
announced that it won orders worth Rs.12.69 crore for supply of
transformers from Jharkhand State Electricity Board
for use in rural electrification projects.

Infrastructure has bagged an orders collectively worth Rs.708 crore

has been awarded a contract worth Rs.229.09 crore from
NTPC for supply and installation of coal
handling plant package for 2x490 MW Dadri power project (Stage II) in Gautam

IVRCL Infrastructure for design, manufacture and supply of 25

- Suzlon Wind Energy
Corporation, USA the wholly owned subsidiary of Suzlon Energy has
signed a contract with Tierra Energy of Austin, Texas,
the USA to provide 42 units of S88-2.1 MW wind turbine generators, which will
be delivered by 2008.
09 Apr 07
- Deep Drilling 1 Pte,
a subsidiary of Aban Offshore has received a letter of award (LoA) from
Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation for
charter hire of the Rig Deep Driller 1 for a firm period of two years with two
options of six months each thereafter at mutually agreeable rates. The
contract to be performed in continuation of the contract with Hardy Oil, is
expected to result in revenues of approximately $141 million during the firm
period.
- Deep Industries
has obtained letter of award (LoA) from Oil & Natural
Gas Corporation for service contract for development of three

road and rail sectors. The road projects, worth Rs.113 crore, includes
development of state highway in Bihar, besides construction of a flyover in

- Punj Lloyd
won a Rs.530 crore order for the supply and construction of a pipeline
in Oman. The order involves laying of a 24-in dia 40-km pipeline from Murayat
to Barka and another 252-km one from Saih Rawl to Mukhaizna. The project is
scheduled for completion by October 2008.

- Delhi Metro Rail
Corporation has bagged contract for providing consultancy services
for Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit System in Indonesia. This is the first
international contract bagged by DMRC.

- Kirloskar Brothers
secured an export contract for $10.48 million from
National Water Commission, Jamaica, for supply of centrifugal pump
sets with allied accessories and equipment for water supply for the Jamaica
Water System Rehabilitation and Extension Project.
