1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

  • Vadodara-based Permionics Membranes bagged an order worth Rs.25.89 crore from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam for the sewage treatment plant and associated reverse osmosis membranes system to produce recycled and quality water at RINL's Vizag steel plant.   • Era Infra Engineering bagged a contract worth Rs.85.20 crore from Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation for the construction of EMU maintenance car shed between Nallasopara and Virar stations of Western Railway through international competitive bidding (ICB). The project being funded by International Bank for Reconstruction Development (IBRD) is part of Mumbai Urban Transport Project.
  • Punj Lloyd secured a contract worth Rs.649 crore from Indian Oil Corporation for the motor spirit quality (MSQ) upgradation project at Barauni refinery in Begusarai district of Bihar. (more news)

  • IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects bagged a contract worth Rs.837.60 crore from ONGC Petro Additions, a subsidiary of ONGC for its Dahej petrochemical complex on lump sum turnkey. B. Overseas Contracts

24 Jun 08

  • Jain Irrigation secured an export order worth Rs.22.7 crore for supply of PVC pipes and fittings as well as sprinkler system for irrigation use from Ethiopia sugar factory. The supply order is to be completed within a period of 20 weeks.

23 Jun 08

  • Maharashtra Seamless bagged an export order for $45 million (approx Rs.180 crore) for supply of ERW pipes used for critical oil and gas exploration projects in US.

06 Jun 08

  • BGR Energy Systems has bagged a contract worth $9.29 million (approx. Rs.37.1 crore) for design, engineering, manufacture and supply of 70 oil products storage tanks for new Aumara Oil Products Depot, Iraq. The scope of contract includes design, pre-fabrication and supply of steel storage tanks along with cooling water system, foam system, fire protection system, radar gauges and other instrumentation. The work order will be completed in 12 months.

03 Jun 08

  • PSL North America LLC (a subsidiary of PSL) and PSL Ltd bagged an order worth $418 million (approx Rs.1,672 crore) from Florida Gas Transmission Co for 543 miles of pipes and associated coating.
